Skin Rescue Exfoliating Serum

One of the main ingredients in our serum is Hyaluronic acid. Known for its hydrating properties, Hyaluronic acid helps to replenish and retain moisture in the skin, resulting in a plumper and more youthful complexion. It also helps to improve the skin's elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Another ingredient in our serum is 2% Salicylic acid. This beta-hydroxy acid is known for its exfoliating properties, helping to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells. By doing so, it helps to prevent breakouts and promote a clearer complexion. Salicylic acid also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for those with acne-prone or sensitive skin.

Azelaic acid is also included in our serum at a concentration of 5%. This ingredient has multiple benefits for the skin. It helps to regulate excessive oil production, reducing the chances of clogged pores and breakouts. Azelaic acid also has brightening properties, helping to even out skin tone and fade dark spots or hyperpigmentation. Additionally, it has antioxidant properties that help to protect the skin from environmental damage.

Propanediol is another ingredient in our serum that serves as a humectant, helping to attract and retain moisture in the skin. This ingredient enhances the overall hydration and smoothness of the skin.

One of the star ingredients in our serum is 5% Niacinamide. This form of vitamin B3 has numerous benefits for the skin. Before incorporating any new skincare product into your routine, it is advisable to perform a patch test. Apply a small amount of the serum to a small area of your skin and wait 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.

•  Cleanse your face: Start by thoroughly cleansing your face with a gentle cleanser. 

• Pat dry: Gently pat your face with a clean towel. 

•  Dispense the serum: Take a small amount of the exfoliating serum onto your fingertips. Start with a pea-sized amount and adjust as necessary.

• Apply to the face: Using your fingertips, apply the serum in gentle, upward motions. Start from the centre of your face and work your way outwards. Be sure to cover all areas, including the forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Avoid the eye area, as exfoliating serums can be too harsh for this delicate skin.

• Allow for absorption: Once applied, allow the exfoliating serum to absorb into your skin for a few minutes. This will give the active ingredients time to work their magic.

• Moisturise: After the serum has been absorbed, follow up with your moisturiser. This will help lock in the benefits of the serum and keep your skin hydrated.

• Use sunscreen: Exfoliating serums can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. 

•  Frequency of use: Twice or thrice a week.

• Can be used as a Spot treatment.
